  1. List 3 foods that you could eat for breakfast and 3 foods that you could eat for lunch. List the words in both Spanish and English. Page 159.
  2. Translate each of the following into English after copying down the Spanish: tener ganas de, tener hambre, tener sed, el desayuno, el almuerzo, la cena. Page 159
  3. Write 3 sentences about foods that you like and 3 sentences about foods that you don't like. Page 145.
  4. Make a T Chart for the verbs beber and comer (both regular ER verbs). Page 150
  5. Make a T Chart for the verbs vivir and escribir (both regular IR verbs). Page 150
  6. Write out the Spanish numbers for 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1,000. Page 165

  1. Translate each of the following into English: yo, tu, el, ella, Ud., nosotros, nosotras, vosotros, vosotras, ellos, ellas, Uds. Use the dictionary in the back of the book if necessary.
  2. List as many question words as you can remember. Write them out in both Spanish and English. Page 129 and Page 159.
  3. List at least 5 adjectives to describe how you feel in both Spanish and English. Page 111 and Page 129.
  4. Make a T Chart for the verb estar. Page 115
  5. Make a T Chart for the verb ir. Page 120
  6. List at least 5 words to describe where things are located (near, far from, etc.). Write these out in both Spanish and English. Page 129
  7. List at least 4 vocabulary words for places in a school. Write both the Spanish and the English. Page 129

2. List at least 3 weather conditions. Page 25
3. Write sentences to tell about 3 things that you like and 3 things that you don't like. Page 42
4. Write out the numbers for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100. Page 87
5. Make a T Chart for the verb tener. Page 91
6. Make a T Chart for nadar and escuchar (both regular AR verbs). Page 96
7. List at least 4 school subjects in Spanish and in English. Page 105
8. List at least 3 words that describe frequency in Spanish and in English. Page 105
9. Write out the time for each of the following in Spanish:

  • 2:30
  • 12:45
  • 6:25

*Some students in each class completed the speaking portion of the final exam. All other students will complete that tomorrow.
*Students made a list of 45 Spanish vocabulary words (the 5 most challenging words from each vocabulary list in their opinion). Students traded these papers with a partner.

*Translate the 45 words on the paper you received from a partner. Try to do this without a book or notes first and then check your answers and fill in any missing words.
