Me Gusta Project

You are going to create a project, which expresses your feelings about different activities or objects. You will use the verb gustar. You will write at least 10 sentences using gustar to express what you like and what you don’t like. This is a chance for you to tell the rest of us about who you are using your Spanish skills.

Your project must include the following:

• Some type of visual aide – poster, collage, book, slide show, web site, etc.
• You need to include a picture for each item that you include as a like or dislike.
• You need to use the verb gustar in each of your 10 sentences. Be sure that you include a mixture of likes and dislikes. Also, be sure that you use both the singular and plural forms of gustar (gusta/gustan).
• Use vocabulary you already know – Do NOT look up tons of words that no one else in the class will know!

· Did you include 10 sentences that each use the verb gustar?

· Did you use gustar in both the singular and plural forms (gusta/gustan)?

· Did you include both negative and positive sentences (likes/dislikes)?

· Were your sentences grammatically correct?

· Did you use vocabulary that you already knew?

· Was your Spanish comprehensible?

Visual Aide /15

· Did your visual aide go along with your presentation?

· Did you include your Spanish sentences on your visual aide?

· Did you refer to your visual aide during the presentation?

· Was your visual aide neat and colorful?

· Was your visual aide creative?

· Did your visual aide reflect a great deal of effort?

Oral /10

· Did you speak to your group rather than read to them?

· Did you pronounce the Spanish words correctly?

· Did you observe the rules of public speaking? For example,

good eye contact, no gum, good volume, etc.
